Naalya SS Bweyogerere Holds Vibrant Open Air Campaigns as Aspirants Lobby for Votes
The air on campus was charged with enthusiasm and youthful vigor as the school held its much anticipated General Open Air Campaigns for the upcoming prefectship elections 2026.

Following a rigorous Vetting stage that identified the most disciplined and capable candidates, the day belonged to the qualified aspirants who took to the podium to lobby directly for the mandate of their fellow students. In a spirited display of democracy and eloquence, each candidate presented their manifestos, outlining their visions for academic excellence, discipline, and student welfare.

The event was a masterclass in leadership and public speaking. From the aspirants for Academic Prefect to the candidates for Entertainment and Sports, each student used their allocated time to convince the student body why they deserved a vote.

“This exercise is not just about choosing leaders; it is about nurturing responsibility and the art of persuasion,” Prefects’ Patron noted. “We are proud of how maturely the vetting committee handled the selection, and even prouder of how the candidates are respecting the process.”

The student mass acted as the final jury, listening keenly to the promises and challenging the aspirants with tough questions. The campaigns concluded with a call for peace and unity, reminding the school that the ultimate goal is the progress of Naalya Secondary School.

Voting will take place later this week 8th June,2026. We encourage all students to exercise their democratic right by voting for capable leaders who will serve with integrity.
