Headteacher Honors Academic Giants at Pre-Term Assembly
Naalya Secondary School, Namugongo Campus, kicked off the term with a powerful Academic Assembly focused on reflection, analysis, and excellence.

The session, held in the school compound, saw the Head of Academics and class teachers present a detailed performance analysis from the previous term. In a transparent review, educators highlighted key areas of improvement while celebrating the students who raised the school's academic flag high.

In a moment of pride, the class teachers presented their respective top-performing students to the Headteacher. Each of these outstanding learners was called to the podium, where the Headteacher personally awarded them a special branded notebook titled "Academic Giant." Emblazoned with the school’s insignia, the notebook serves as both a trophy and a tool for continued excellence.

Beyond the awards, the assembly served as a strategic academic workshop. Class teachers took turns advising students on effective study habits, with a unanimous emphasis on the power of reading. Learners were encouraged to go beyond notes and embrace a culture of wide reading to sharpen their comprehension and analytical skills.

The Headteacher urged the student body to emulate the "Academic Giants," reminding them that "great performance is not an accident, but a product of disciplined reading and consistency."

As the term commences, the message from Naalya Namugongo is clear: Excellence is expected, and every student has the potential to be a Giant.
